FSU PGMSA Amputee Tournament

For Women Only Clinics

May 30th–August 22nd, 2017, 5:30pm–6:15pm

For Women Only Clinics are specific to female golfers who play regularly, occasionally, or are brand new to golf. Clinics provide women with a chance to learn the basics of the game in a relaxing atmosphere.

"Drop-In" Clinic, so come when you can.  Each clinic will be forty-five minutes providing an informative, non-competitive and fun learning environment. Weekly sessions will cover all areas of the game including; fundamentals, putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, full swing with irons, metal woods, hybrids and drivers, and on-course play.

Clinics are held every Tuesday from 5:30-6:15PM, May 23 - August 22.

June 2017

FSU Golf Player Showcase for Girls

June 3rd, 2017, 8:00am–6:00pm

Player Showcase is geared towards athletes entering eleventh or twelfth grade to graduating seniors who compete in golf at the High School level. This one day camp is designed to observe and evaluate players through testing and in on-course tournament play. During the day parents will have an opportunity to sit in on a Q&A session with our coaching staff and members of the Ferris State Golf Teams.

Women's Golf Day | Instruction & Golf

FSU Golf Skills Camp #1

July 10th–13th, 2017, 8:00am–3:00pm

FSU Golf Camps are designed to both strengthen and develop a you hg golfers skills as well as provide them with a unique on-campus college experience.  Using the finest technology in golf including Trackman, our PGA Professional staff and players from both the Men's and Women's golf teams will work one-on-one with campers providing learning activities both on and off course maximizing the development of young athletes.

Co-ed skills camps are geared towards athletes of all abilities between ages 12-18.  ability levels will be determined by a Player Ability Test on the first day.  Students will be groped according to skill level and given the opportunity to improve with instruction from our PGA Professional Staff to prepare for their upcoming golf seasons or tournament schedule.

K.A.T. Youth Golf Program

July 12th–19th, 2017, 12:00am

K.A.T. Youth Golf Program uses balance and agility exercises, hand-eye coordination techniques and golf drills using a variety of practice areas that provide a number of different types of playing conditions. We provide an environment that will keep kids engaged by having a fun, interactive experience. Educating kids and involving them in golf is the goal, but keeping it fun is our primary focus. Every junior will be given an equipment evaluation and information will be provided to parents. Golf clubs are required, but for those who do not have access to equipment, every effort will be made to supply kids with clubs.

We welcome parents and grandparents to watch the development of their young athlete. If you are unsure what level to put your junior in, give us a call. We will assist with putting the kids in the correct level based on ability and age to maximize their enjoyment.  

K.A.T. Youth Golf Programs for 2017 include: IN-SCHOOL GOLF - Coming this off-season to a school near you, S.N.A.G. SCHOOL - For kids ages 4-6, PLAYER CAMP - For kids ages 7-9, SPORT CAMP - For kids ages 10-12, CHAMP CAMP - For kids ages 13-17, and K.A.T. Drive, Chip & Putt Championship (Local)

Kid's Invy (Parent/Child Event)

Patriot Golf Week

Help Katke support the Folds of Honor Foundation and participate in Patriot Golf Week, September 4-9, 2017.  Katke will donate $1 for every $5 spent on golf or range. In addition to Katke’s contribution, we will be collecting donations for the Folds of Honor, an organization that provides educational scholarships and assistance to the families of military members.  Nearly 5,200 facilities host Patriot Golf Day nationwide. Golfers can make donations in the golf shop before or after play, while non-golfers can participate by learning more and donating at FoldsofHonor.org.

FSU PGMAA Fall Classic

October 8th, 2017, 12:00pm–7:00pm

PGMAA Fall Classic includes, the annual Fall PGMAA Board Meeting in Katke Clubhouse Multi-Purpose Room, Tournament Registration & Continental Breakfast begins at 11AM, and a shotgun start at 12PM.  The 18-Hole event will have multiple formats and multiple entry fees. PGMAA/PGMAA Team Event, PGMAA/PGM Student Team Event, and Individual PGMAA Stroke Play. During the round an on-course cookout will be provided with complimentary food & refreshments.  Following golf we will announce the tournament results and enjoy appetizers & refreshments in the Founders Grill.

NMPGA Fall Meeting & Pro-Pro

The Goat Mountain Golf Tournament

"The Goat Track Is A Unique And Extremely Difficult Course Which We Recommend Only For Creative Minded and somewhat Skilled Golfers.  Watch for Errant Shots and pay attention To where other golfers are."  The event has multiple flights and formats, individual stroke play and 2-person team scramble.  Participants will play 9-Holes from 6,400 yards using all 21 holes on the property.  For more information or to sign up contact the golf staff, 231.591.3765
